THE WEDDING PARTY

Introducing you to some of the finest people we've come across in our lives. These beautiful humans have all played a massive part in getting us to where we are today.
BRIDESMAIDS
GROOMSMEN
Brianna Clarke
Ever since she could speak, Jade had asked her parents for a sister (not a brother) so was thrilled when her parents finally delivered. The day Bri was born still ranks as one of the best days of Jade’s life.

What Bri lacks in stature she makes up for in personality and is lovingly known around the Starke household as ‘the little general’ for her ability to take command and rally the troops.
A mover and shaker in the property industry, her creative flair and organisation skills are second to none.

This globetrotting lover of artisanal cuisine, cold-brew coffee and domesticated greyhounds makes up one half of the dynamic ‘Claylor’ duo with Jade’s beloved and soon to be bro-in-law Mr Cameron Taylor.
Polly Attwood
Also known by her other alias – Christine Blenkinship, Polly and Jade have been besties since they met at Mimosa Primary when they were 6. Their 26 year friendship first grew over a mutual love of English Breakfast tea and Paul Newman’s salad dressing. Jade’s bread-less lunches led Polly to affectionately call her ‘Salad Head’ growing up.
Marketing guru, style queen and never one to shy away from a great night out, Polly is likely to be a key feature on the Mudbrick dance floor and over the years has helped Jade perfect her one arm in the air dance move.
Polly leads an all-star cast with her hubby Ben (Choppy) Attwood and their daughter, and Beau’s future missus, Zoe.
Sara Afeaki
Sara and Jade met at high school but only became friends as a result of their parents meeting at school trivia. Sara was definitely higher up the social ladder — a point underscored by her notable absence at the first family mixer. She was forced to attend the second one and the rest is history!

Many hours were spent in Sara’s bedroom studying and looking at photos of Richie McCaw and Jonny Wilkinson. Sara actually delivered on marrying a rugby player and is now Mrs Sara Afeaki — wife to Leaping Leo Afeaki and mum to two gorgeous bubs: Kimi and Ciara.

Incredibly thoughtful and wise this Irish lass has made sure they continue to laugh and dance through their best years.
Nicholas Ash
Jonny's life was changed forever when he met international jewellery and fashion juggernaut Nicholas Ash.
They met ‘online’ and flatted together in Bondi. Jonny eventually gave in to Nick’s advances and they became good mates. Nick helped execute the marriage proposal to ensure Jade said 'yes’.

This best man mixes a mean cocktail and has mastered the arts of slow cooking and beard trimming (separately). We are waiting for Nick to star on The Bachelor or
New Zealand's Next Top Model in 2019.
Paul McGarry
Jonny met this critically self-proclaimed breakdancing wonder at primary school when they were 10 years old.
Affectionately known as ‘Big Bird’, Paul regularly featured in Stening family holidays and was like a brother from another mother.

As a lawyer, Paul loves a challenge and has a dogged determination. He’s currently training for the Coast to Coast, a one-day 243km multi-sport race across the NZ Southern Alps.
Husband to Naomi and father to Faye — this guy knows how to par-tay.
Richard Sidey
Jonny first met outdoor adventurer and intrepid globe explorer Richard at scouts and later became good mates at high school.
When not filming in some remote corner of the world, Richard’s day off would involve hiking up a mountain ridge, paragliding down to a river, inflating his raft and making his way downstream in time for breakfast.

Richard and fiancé Aliscia are ridiculously talented, award-winning nature & wildlife filmmakers / photographers. Look out for Richard’s signature move on the DF — 'The Penguin’.
